The place is quaint and ideal, we did not want to leave!
The triple room overlooks sea and includes tea/coffee making equipment, a fridge, and kitchenware. The hotel is set in a peaceful location so close to the marinas and edge and Benagil caves and the sea. Meia Praia district is worth your attention.

Wow! Our Easter stay exceeded all expectations! The parking was easy and onsite, and the location was perfect - a little oasis overlooking the sea. We loved the comfortable and clean rooms, filled with natural light, and the added bonus of having juice and small snacks available. The beautiful yellow villa-type house and the fantastic pool were exactly like the photos, even better in person. The hosts were great, making us feel at home. We can't wait to go back!
The only downsides were that our "sea view" room didn't actually have a sea view from the room itself, only from the shared courtyard. It was a bit misleading.

We got amazing value for our money with a spacious and fully equipped room, plus a beautiful pool and outside space for privacy. The staff treated us like VIPs and the location was quiet yet close to town.
The breakfast offerings could be improved with a wider selection.

The rooms at Moonshine Guest House are cozy and comfortable, perfect for a relaxing stay. I loved having a kitchenette in my room, it made it convenient to prepare quick meals. The flat-screen TV with satellite channels was a great addition for entertainment during downtime. The private bathroom with free toiletries made me feel pampered and refreshed. Some rooms even have a balcony, which provided a lovely view and a nice place to relax. The bed linen in every room was clean and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep.
Personally, I'm not a fan of karaoke, but others might enjoy it at the guest house.

The free WiFi was a nice way to pretend I was being productive while lounging by the pool. The fully equipped kitchenette meant I could pretend to cook something gourmet, even though I just ordered takeout.
The terrace and barbecue were available, but I was too lazy to use them.

The highlight of our stay was definitely the breathtaking views of the city and the sea. It felt like we were on top of the world, taking in the stunning panorama from the balcony of our room. It was like watching a captivating movie unfold, with the city below us bustling like tiny ants. We couldn't have asked for a better way to start our day than with a cup of coffee, gazing out at the mesmerizing view.
Limited sea view.

I recently stayed at a wonderful guest house in Lagos and had a fantastic experience. My stay was for a week and I was traveling with a car, so the location was perfect for me. The guest house was tucked away from the city hustle but still close to the city center and the beaches. The rooms were spacious and the beds were extremely comfortable. I particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfasts and the freshly brewed coffee from their excellent Saeco coffee machine. The icing on the cake was the refreshing swimming pool, perfect for hot days.
Would recommend this hotel.
